Cross-country/alpine/snowboard

Valdres is especially known for its excellent cross-country possibilities.
The trails run over the mountains and through the forests. Beginners as well as advanced cross-country and expert skiers can enjoy the good snow conditions.
The area is also extremely suitable for snowshoe trekking or simply for taking a walk through the snow.

Valdres has seven ski centers, of which Beitostølen is the biggest.
All downhill possibilities are available here – from green slopes for beginners to black slopes for the real experts.

The nearest ski center is in cozy Vaset (1000 m altitude), a 15-minute-drive from our pension.
It is suitable for beginners and moderate skiers.

Dog sledding tours

A dog sledding tour is an experience in itself that you will not quickly forget. You can drive a sleigh by yourself with 5-6 dogs or let yourself be driven.
Each sleigh has seating capacity for two.
